Georgia Lyn Hunter's love affair with books began as a young child. Her siblings could never quite understand why she'd rather read than watch T.V, or horrors of all, spend her pocket money on books. She devoured the written word, from Grimm's fairy-tales, to Disney. Later in her teen years she moved to the classics like Jane Austin, Charlotte Bronte and T.S. Elliot. Writing was just the next step. She penned numerous contemporary and YA stories, until she discovered the paranormal genre several years ago.Hunter, a South African, worked as a Fashion Designer for several years before she gave up her career to move to the Middle East with her husband and two kids. There she taught Art to Middle-Schoolers for a while. But the writing bug had bitten, and she traded teaching to be a fulltime writer. With a mind that's a hive for ideas and the extraordinary journey her imagination takes her to, she is thrilled to finally be able to follow her dream as a writer. Her paranormal romance, Absolute Surrender, will be released by Black Opal Books in late 2012 or early 2013.
